How to Configure Print Density and Speed for the KNAON Y486AP Printer
Before starting the following steps, ensure you have completed the printer's network configuration using the “Flashlabel Pro” APP.

Step 1: Install the KNAON Y486AP Printer
Connect and install the printer via a Network connection.
Step 2: Access the Printer’s Web Management Page

Open any web browser on your computer (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Firefox).

Enter the printer’s unique URL in the browser’s address bar.
How to get the URL:

Locate the purple button on the top of the printer.

Press and hold the purple button until you hear two beeps, then release it.

The full URL will be shown on the printed self-test page.
First-time access note:
If your browser displays a security prompt (e.g., "Your connection is not private"):-
Click the "Advanced" option.

Select the option to proceed to the page (the button label may vary by browser).

Step 3: Log In to the Web Management Interface

On the login page, enter the password.

Default password for KNAON Y486AP:
12345678 -
Click the "Login" button.
Step 4: Navigate to the Setup Menu
In the web management interface, find and click the "Setup Menu" option.
Step 5: Select "Virtual Printer" in the Component Section

On the "Setup Menu" page, locate the "Component" section.

Find and select the "Virtual Printer" option.
- After selecting "Virtual Printer", click the "Accept or setup" button to access the parameter configuration interface.
Step 6: Set Print Density and Speed
In the parameter configuration interface, configure the following settings:

Density: Controls how dark/light the printed content is.

Speed: Controls how fast the printer processes and outputs documents.
Select your preferred options from the available drop-down menus or controls.
After confirming your selections, click the "Accept" button to save the changes. The new settings will take effect immediately.
