KNAON Y486AP Wi-Fi Printing Setup via FlashLabel Pro (Android & IOS)

Tutorial Video:

1. Install FlashLabel Pro App

If you haven’t installed the app yet, visit [How to use printer on the Phone] to download and install it.

2. Initiate Printer Connection

  • Open the FlashLabel Pro app on your mobile device.
  • Tap the "Disconnected" button at the upper right corner to start the printer connection process.

3. Locate and Connect to the Printer

  • Ensure the KNAON Y486AP printer is powered on.
  • The app will scan for available devices. Once you find "Y486AP-XXXX" (with "WiFi not configured" status), tap the "Connect" button next to it.

4. Enter Wi-Fi Credentials

  • Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
  • Enter the Wi-Fi password in the designated field.
  • Tap the "Confirm" button to proceed.

5. Verify Connection Success

  • After a successful connection, the printer’s indicator light will turn blue.
  • In the FlashLabel Pro app, the printer status will show "Connected", and the model name "KNAON Y486AP" will be displayed.

Note: You don’t need to repeat the network configuration process. Reconfiguration is only required when the printer is not yet networked or when you switch it to another network.
