Add Y486AP Printer on Windows by IP Address
NOTE: Ensure your computer and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network/network segment. (To verify the printer’s network, print a network configuration page from the printer’s settings.)

Installation Steps:
1. Download the Printer Driver

Turn ON the printer.

Note: Download the driver indicated in the red box on the download page.
2. Start the Installation

Locate the downloaded driver file (typically a
.exefile) and double-click to launch the installer. -
Follow the on-screen prompts to proceed.

3. Select Connection Type

In the installation wizard, choose "Wi-Fi" as the connection method.

Click "Next" to continue.

4. Connect to the Printer’s Network

Select the wireless network named "Y486AP" from the list.

Enter the printer’s IP address when prompted.

5. Complete Installation

Click "Install" to begin the driver installation.

Once finished, click "Finish" to exit the wizard.

Verify Installation

After installation, the printer should appear in your computer’s Devices & Printers list.
