Printer Prints One Label Then 1+ Blank Labels(Printer skip paper)
When the printer skips paper, ensure that the size of the print file, the label paper, and the paper size in the printer settings are consistent. If you are using the ”FlashLabel Pro” app for printing, make sure the paper type set in the app matches the type of label paper you are using.
Note: For accurate printing, ensure the following four dimensions align:
1. The size of your document
2. The size of the label paper in use
3. The size option selected on the print preview page
For example, if your label paper is 4x6 inches, ensure your label file is 4x6 inches and the printer paper setting is also 4x6 inches.
4. The paper type set in the app (if using FlashLabel Pro)
After connecting to the printer, click "Settings" to access the "Printer Settings" interface. Set the Paper Type to Gap.
If the issue persists, follow these steps to calibrate the label:
Calibrating the Label Size:
-
Turn on the printer.
-
Load at least 4 consecutive sheets of paper into the printer.
-
Once the paper stops moving, press and hold the FEED button (indicated by the red/blue light) and release it when you hear a "beep" sound.
-
The printer will automatically calibrate the label size by moving back and forth, and the process will complete once it stops.
