How to use printer on Linux via USB cable?

The printer requires the installation of a driver on your computer to function properly.

Tutorial video:

1. Ensure the printer is turned OFF.

2. Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.

3. Attach the power cable to the adapter, connect it to the printer, and plug it into a power socket.

4. Turn ON the printer.

5. Download the driver from this link: Download Linux driver (CPU: AMD64)

6. Right-click in a blank area to open the terminal, then run the .run driver file and follow the steps below to install the printer driver


Steps to Add the Printer:


1.Open ”System Settings“ on your linux and select Printers”.


2. Click Additional Printer Settings...”. In the next window, click the Add button.

3. On the printer setup interface, select the KNAON Y813BT printer

4. Click Forward to proceed with the installation. The program will search for compatible printers for about 30-60 seconds. No action is required during this process until a new interface appears.

5. When the "New Printer" interface appears, click Apply to complete the printer setup.

 

Note:  For accurate printing, ensure the following four dimensions align:

    1. The size of your document

    2. The size of the label paper in use

    3. The size option selected on the print preview page

Now, if you wish to print a Sample 4 x 6 Shipping Label. In the print dialogue, please be sure to select your "Paper Size" appropriately (for example 4 x 6). and then save the settings in the Presets option.
