How to Load Label Paper Correctly?

To ensure your printer works properly, follow these steps to load label paper correctly.

Step 1: Power On the Printer

Press the power button to turn on the printer.

Step 2: Open the Printer Cover

Press the cover release buttons on both sides simultaneously to open the cover.

Step 3: Place the Thermal Paper

Place the roll of thermal paper into the designated paper tray inside the printer.

Step 4: Check the Print Side

Ensure the side of the paper intended for printing is facing upwards, towards the print head.

If you are unsure which is the correct print side, you can perform this simple test:

  • Scrape a small, inconspicuous area of the paper with a hard object (like a coin or your fingernail).

  • If black marks appear, that side is the print side and should face up towards the print head (as in Step 4).

  • If no marks appear, that is the non-print side.

Step 5: Close the Cover

Align the edges of the paper with the printer's guides, then close the cover firmly.
