Why is the label getting stuck or half-printed?

The primary issue is that the printer failed to recognize your label correctly. Please follow the steps below to help the printer recalibrate and recognize the label.

Calibrating the Label Size:

1. Turn on the printer.

    2. Load at least 4 consecutive sheets of paper into the printer.

    3. Once the paper stops moving, press and hold the FEED button (indicated by the red/blue light) and release it when you hear a "beep" sound.

    4. The printer will then automatically calibrate the label size by moving back and forth, and the process will complete once it stops.

For detailed steps, watch the video:"How to calibrate label paper?"

The process is complete when the printer stops moving.

Another possible cause is printer overheating when printing specific parts of the label. In this case, try reducing the printer’s print density.

    • Set the speed to "4" and the density to "2", then attempt to print again.

    • If the label appears too light, increase the density by 1.

    For APP:

After connecting to the printer, click "Settings" to access the "Printer Settings" interface. Adjust the printer's density and speed. If you want to restore the default settings, you can click "Restore".

    For Mac:

On the print preview page, navigate to:Printer OptionsPrinter FeaturesPrinter Settings.Adjust the Speed and Density, then click OK.

     For Windows:

    Go to:
SettingsBluetooth & devicesPrinters & Scanners → Click 'KNAON Y813BT'Printing PreferencesPage Setup.
Adjust the Speed and Density, then click OK.

    For Chromebook

In the Printer Settings interface, adjust the Speed and Density, then click Save.

    For Linux:

On the print interface, adjust the density in Image Quality and modify the speed in the Advanced options.
