AirPrint Setup Guide for macOS

Note: If the KNAON Y486AP printer has not been network-configured yet, please first complete the network setup by following the guide at this link:[KNAON Y486AP Wi-Fi Printing Setup via FlashLabel Pro (Android & IOS)]

Prerequisite:
Ensure your Mac and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network/subnet.
(Tip: Print the printer’s self-check page to verify its current network connection.)

Step 1: Add the Printer to Your Mac

1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences on macOS 12 or earlier).

2. Navigate to Printers & Scanners > Click the + (Add) button at the bottom left.

3. Wait for your printer (e.g., "KNAON Y486AP") to appear in the list.

4. Select the printer and click Add.

Step 2: Print a Document

1. Open the file you wish to print.

2. Press Command + P or go to File > Print in the application menu.

3. In the print dialog:

   • Select KNAON Y486AP from the printer dropdown.

   • Adjust settings if needed, then click Print.

Troubleshooting Tips:

• If the printer isn’t listed, restart both the printer and Mac, and recheck the network connection.
