Why is the printer not appearing in the printer list?

For Mac:

If the printer is not detected on your Mac, follow these steps:

1. Open ”System Settings“ on your Mac and select Printers & Scanners.

2. Click Add Printers, Scanners, or Fax.... In the next window, select Label Printer, then choose Select Software from the drop-down menu.

3. Search for "Knaon Label Printer", select it, and click "OK".

4. Click "Add". The printer will now appear on your Mac.

For Windows

Note: First, identify the USB port assigned to the printer by your PC.

1. Locate USB Printing Support or the printer name in the device manager.

2. Check the USB port number assigned to the printer on your PC. For example, your PC might assign USB001 to the printer.

 

3. Find the "Add a printer" and click on it.

4. Navigate to the Add Printer interface.

5. Select the port number assigned to the printer (e.g., USB001) and click "Next".

6. Choose the "KNAON Y813BT" driver for the printer and click "Next". Continue clicking "Next" to complete the printer setup.
